In Scotland, one document usually covers both Health and Welfare and Financial affairs. They are seperate in the remainder of the UK, and, you can choose to make one or both. Most people make both.
Arranging a Power of Attorney ensures that YOU choose the people to look after your affairs. The alternative is a Guardianship Order in Scotland or a Court of Protection Order in the rest of the UK.
